Meet Dr. Dianat
Education and Training
Dr. Dianat completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Science (MS) in Endodontics from Isfahan and Shahid Beheshti Universities of Medical Sciences in Iran. He was a full-time faculty member for 5 years and ran a private practice limited to endodontics for 6 years before moving to the United States. After moving, Dr. Dianat completed his second endodontic residency and Master’s in Dental Science from the University of Maryland.
Dr. Dianat is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Awards and Recognition
During his residency, Dr. Dianat was recognized by the Tony Michael Ponti Memorial Award, which is presented to one graduating senior for excellence in clinical Endodontics. Also, his research project on “the accuracy and efficiency of a dynamic navigation system for locating calcified canals” was recognized and funded by the American Association of Endodontists (AAE). He is currently a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Division of Endodontics.
Dr. Dianat has published more than 45 endodontic clinical articles in high-impact journals, especially in the areas of anesthesia and pulp regeneration. He believes that it is essential to integrate advanced technology and evidence-based practice to provide the most effective treatments for his patients.
